BLUE, BLING & CHAMPAGNE!   Closing Events for the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival Honoring 2017 ABTF Theatre Legend, Doris Derby, PhD Red Carpet at 7:30pm!  Join in for an elegant evening of blue and bling as we celebrate with closing events for the sixth Atlanta Black Theatre Festival! This celebrity studded evening will recognize the legendary civil rights activists and artist Dr. Doris Derby followed by the announcement of the 2017 Festival Favorite Awards. Then immerse yourself in the savoring closing performance of Tongues That Move to Ears That Eat  written by award winning playwright Winsphere Jones. VIP guests will then join us for a dazzling after party with dancing, complimentary hors d’ oeuvres, cake and champagne!  Attire is Semi-Formal Blue & Bling for this event!  CLOSING PERFORMANCE SYNOPSIS: Prepare yourself for a collection of monologues that will bring a new perspective in the world of literature.
